·  Around the Clock Childcare Center implements and uses the OWL (Open the World of Learning) Curriculum as found in the SAISD Pre-Kindergarten classrooms.  We use this in our 3 and 4 year old classrooms so that your child will be well-prepared for San Angelo public schools.
·  ATCCC implements the ideas of the Texas School Ready! philosophies including: center-based learning, hands-on activities, and planfull, purposeful play.
·  In our center-based learning activities, we will focus on letter knowledge, phonological awareness (including rhyming, alliteration, onset-rime, and syllabication), number recognition, counting, creativity, science tools and procedures, pretend and learn, and writing, and so much more.
·  The OWL Curriculum prepares a child for success as:
------- Develops language and early literacy skills through rich, integrated content in all domains of learning;
------- Provides a comprehensive curriculum for a full day program;
------- Meets standards set by WAEYC 2009, WCTM, TRA and leading states.

·  We believe the classroom belongs to the children.  It is their environment, and we strive to teach them how to respect, take care of, and manage their classroom through classroom jobs, responsibilities, and a sense of community.
·  We welcome parental involvement.  We would love to have you experience part of our day with us, and gladly encourage you to come read, write, learn, and play with your child.
